Why Competition Supplies?
The metal bodied Lucas style battery isolator switch fits into the main 12V feed from the battery allowing the power to be cut. As there is no seperate ignition cut circuit this unit is not suitable for use on vehicles fitted with a charging system. Electrical connection is via 10mm studs on the rear of the switch.
The unit is also extensively used on vehicles that are rarely used in order to prevent battery drain.
