The Zero 360 Novec™1230 range of car fire extinguishers are significantly smaller and lighter than the current generation of FIA certified foam systems, offering far better packaging within the confines of the modern competition vehicle. Novec 1230 is an enviromentally friendly extinguishing agent which replaces Halon extinguishant.
Utilizing Lifelines compression discharge technology, this extinguisher has superior fire out/knock down abilities compared to standard stored pressure systems as only an undiluted agent is deployed, unlike others that are Nitrogen saturated. Designed with high flow nozzles optimized to suit the Novec 1230 agent, this is a lightweight, efficient and reliable product, compatable with diesel and methanol fuels and is FIA and MSA approved.
