To give the best visibility in the most extreme situations this high Intensity rear LED Rain Light uses the latest surface mount LED technology which gives a great advantage in brightness (4x as bright as the previous model) whilst a robust 6061 Aluminium housing ensures that it will meet the demands of even the harshest of racing conditions.
An additional flash feature has been introduced to ensure the products compliance with any regulations that may come in future.To use the flash function a DPDT (double pole / double throw) ON / OFF / ON switch should be used (Please refer the link below). If you only wish to use the constantly illuminated function then a regular ON/OFF switch can be used.
Flashing rain lights have already been mandated for some race series but this mode will be ideal for all competitiors to increase awareness in situations such as being stalled on the grid, driving slowly with a misfire or puncture or when a sfety car board or red flag is spotted.
