Acousta-Fil exhaust wadding is a revolutionary concept and far more effective than traditional silencer wadding. The Acousta-Fil material is engineered to expand when subjected to heat, filling the void once filled with ambient heat, to ensure optimum sound absorbtion. It is lower in weight than traditional silencer sound absorbtion material, and can expand to fill silencers more effectively, including those with complex shapes.
The PXT wadding has a temperature rating of 720ºC
The ZT1 wadding has a temperature rating of 850°C
