The Filter King fulfills two requirements being both a pressure regulator & a fuel filter in one compact unit.
Suitable for low pressure systems it can set to regulate the fuel pressure anywhere in the 1 - 5psi range.
The fast road version is suited to applications where a mechanical pump has been subsituted for an electric pump or for road going kit cars in mild states of tune where the original injection system has been replaced with carburettors.
For engines with a higher state of tune the competition version should be used & for large capacity engines that require a high fuel flow at moderate pressure the V8 / Hi-flow version should be used.
The fast road version of the Filter King has a 67mm diameter filter diaphragm & is available in 2 models:
1. Glass bowl with tails to accept 6 & 8mm id hose
2. Alloy bowl to accept 8mm id hose.
Supplied with a flat mounting bracket which can be bent to ease installation.
We recommend the use of a fuel pressure gauge for accurate setting of this item.
