Chevrolet mechanical release bearing collars fitted with radiused nose release bearings with a 50mm contact diameter and intended for use with Chevy transmissions with 1.375" guide tubes. Ideal for use with 7 1/4`` competition clutches there are two lengths available.
3 Plate: Effective Length 1.29" Generally suitable for 3 plate sintered or 2 plate cerametallic clutches.
2 Plate: Effective Length 1.58" Generally suitable for 2 plate sintered clutches.
Please Note: The collars accept 40mm I.D. release bearing and whilst these can be used as supplied with Tilton 7 1/4" clutches to optimise the installation it is recommended that the bearing is exchanged for a 62-002-5 with a 44mm contact diameter which fits directly on the steel collar. 44mm contact diameter bearing is available via the link below.
