Why Competition Supplies?
A kit comprising three different thermal indicating paints, thinners and brushes. Carefully clean and degrease a portion of the outer circumference of the brake disc and apply an even coat of each of the 3 colours to adjacent segments on the circumference each approximately 25mm long.
An indication of the peak temperature reached by the disc will be given by the colour change seen in the paint.
Green paint turns White after 10mins @above 458 ° C
Orange paint turns Yellow after 10mins @above 550 ° C
Red paint turns White after 10mins @above 630 ° C
