Rigid yet lightweight aluminium bellhousing for 6 bolt small block Ford V8 engines that accepts the O.E diameter 157 tooth flywheel with standard starter location. This bell housing incorporates six 7/16 UNC threaded mountings to accept Ford Top Loader Wide pattern or Ford T10 transmissions, details can be found in the tab above.
This bell housing has an mounting provision for the Tilton 2000 series hydraulic clutch release mechanism, the effective depth of the bell housing from the block mounting face to the HRB mounting face is approximately 154mm.
NOTE: For use with Chevy pattern T10 transmisions the top bolt holes in the transmission require slotting as per the drawing in the tab above. The spigot diameter of this bell housing is 4.85" so if used with a Chevy diameter gearbox nose (4.685") it will be necessary to install a spigot adapter ring.
