Why Competition Supplies?
A light weight (<4kg) reduction geared competition starter motor replaces original inertia type starters on Jaguar 6 cylinder engines. We offer 2 versions one to suit the 104 tooth ring gear used on 2.4, 3.4 AND 3.8L engines as used in Mk1, Mk2 S Type, E-Type and Mk X models and a second to suit the 133 tooth ring gear used on the 4.2L engines as used in the E Type and Mk X . Built using brand new 1.4kw starter platforms and billet aluminium mounting noses the motor output combined with the reduction gearing ensures consistent and reliable starting of high compression and large capacity engines whilst offering a useful weight saving over the O.E. starter.
