Conversion Starter 163 Tooth Bell Housing to 157 Tooth Ring Gear
After three customers approached us with this problem in a single month we decided we needed a solution! Hence this special application high torque reduction geared starter motor designed for use on Small Block Ford V8 engines which have a 156/157 tooth ring gear flywheel fitted within a bell housing designed for the 163 Tooth ring gear. The slecial mounting plate offsets the pinion by the correct amount to alow it to mech with the 156/157 tooth Ford ring gear despite being mounte on a bellhousing designed for the larger diamegter 163 tooth flywheel.
Built using a high power 1.4kW Denso high torque starter motor platform it is 100% brand new and built to the highest standards to withstand the rigours of all forms of Motorsport.
