This starter suits Ford X-Flow, BD and Lotus Twin Cam installations with 135 tooth ring gears when mated to a ZF S5-18/3. Built on a Denso 1.4kw Offset Gear Reduction starter platform, as with all Wosp units these high performance starters are 100% brand new and are built to the highest standards to withstand the rigours of all forms of motorsport.
A direct replacement for the original starter motor these units weigh considerably less and offer increased pinion torques and cranking speeds. The starter nose is multi drilled to allow the solenoid to be indexed relative to the mounting plate to allow clearance to other components.
